The Blu-Ray Player works extremely well. We did not have whatever issues with setting it up and it works perfectly. Picture quality is excellent. It is very compact, the mirror screening is like shooting fish in a barrel to use.

second hand means second quality
I know it is a second hand unit, I Practise Not care the box with marker and stain. But information technology only work once and so failed. Remote control is unable to turn on the histrion, even the switch push failed on the unit. Only i way to know it was a blu-ray player, unplug power supply cable from rear and plug it once more. The indicator calorie-free volition wink once then dead until I unplug/plug again. Information technology is So disappointed.

Excellent blu-ray and Media player
Blu-ray playback - Fast loading & impressive video quality. DVD upscaling is likewise impressive. Media player - It plays ALL the video & audio formats I accept. It is a superb media histrion. Included Apps - Plenty of Apps came with the player. Many Costless moving-picture show sites as well. Furthermore, y'all go SBS on Need, ABC iView & Aqueduct Ten catch up. You can download Sideview Apps to your smart phone or ipad & employ it every bit a remote is a adept bonus. Negative - It only comes with RCA digital output & no optical output (optical is the more mutual digital connection on HDMI-less equipment). Deal breaker - As this player does not have a display panel, you can't run across the track number you are playing when you replay CD or FLAC format. You have to turn on the TV display to view this. Nearly inconvenient if I connect the HDMI out to my surround audio amplifier & play dorsum through the organization. Wished Sony could update Sideview App so that a condition display could be shown on the smart phone. Non a trouble with video play back as y'all have to turn the Television set on anyway & pressing the brandish button on the remote would bear witness the status on the Tv screen. Adept player with older but skilful User interface. No wireless simply tin can be connected to router using cablevision for internet to practice aforementioned job as more expensive BDP 5500. Past irresolute and using DNS redirect (getflix etc) can access BBC, Amazon and hulu apps in Commonwealth of australia. Overall good and inexpensive player. Purchased refurbished unit but was equally skilful as new unit with 12 months Sony warranty.
